Some bands that play pirate metal look and dress like pirates. Ectofolk A folk music genre that emerged in the 1980s, featuring acoustic instruments, storytelling, and personal expression. Ectofolk often has haunting melodies and poetic lyrics that explore themes of love, nature, and spirituality. Solipsynthm An electronic music genre that blends elements of experimental, ambient, and glitch music. Solipsynthm is characterized by its use of abstract soundscapes, unconventional rhythms, and glitchy effects. Lowercase A genre that is thought to have been created by Steve Roden with his album “Forms of paper”. The album features Roden recording himself handling paper in various ways. Beatdown : Beatdown is type of hardcore punk characterized by a more aggressive sound and vocals that are shouted, screamed, or growled. Emerging in the ’80s, beatdown has slow, chugging breakdowns and later influenced the development of metalcore. Black sludge : A combination of black metal and sludge, the music.
